After over a year of dating it looks like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are ready to bring their professional lives together as well as their personal ones. According to MTV News, Bieber is currently writing songs for Gomez’s next album and plans to produce on the disc as well.

Will.i.am, who Bieber recently worked with, confirmed the news. The musician said, “He taps me on the shoulder… ‘Yo, I want to show you this song I produced and wrote. I’m really excited about it because it’s one of the first songs I produced by myself.’ The song was dope. He was like, ‘Yeah, I wrote it for Selena. It’s great.’ And it was really awesome. It was really, really dope.”

So, just to clarify, the song is apparently dope. Gomez hasn’t said much about her upcoming new album, but now it’s confirmed that she has worked with Toby Gad and Rock Mafia, as well as her boyfriend. Earlier this year Gomez told reporters that her dream collaborations for the disc were fun. and Taylor Swift, but there’s no word on whether those will be coming to fruition.

But what we really want to know is whether Gomez’s album will be about Bieber. The singer told MTV News in June, “It’s not going to be necessarily, ‘Here’s my tell-all.’ It’s going to be more of something that people could say, ‘It could be that or it could be this or it could be that.’ At the end of the day, I only make my music because I want it [to] be really fun, and if I could have people dance to it, relate to it, have a good time, that’s all I want.”
